Scholarship

Wright State University’s International Scholarship Program is merit-based and designed to recognize academically outstanding international first-year and transfer students for the 2022-2023 academic year. Scholarships range in value from $4,000 to $10,000, renewable for up to 3 years (the scholarship is valid for 4 years total).

University Center for International Education (UCIE) Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

You will be considered for the UCIE Undergraduate Merit scholarship upon admission into the university, no scholarship application is needed. Funds are offered as available.

For students attending directly from high school, the scholarship is based on your high school GPA. If you are transferring from another institution the GPA is based on your previous undergraduate GPA.

#YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship

Through the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship, Wright State University recognizes international students who demonstrate a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. In Fall 2022, we will select two first-year students to receive a renewable scholarship of $10,000 per year for four years. To be considered for the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship, you must be a first-year international applicant applying from abroad. As an international applicant, you must have attended or have graduated from a secondary school outside of the U.S. and demonstrated interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.

  1. First, you must apply and be accepted into Wright State University as a first-year international applicant.
