Program Description

The associate degree in business and administration is designed to prepare students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business with majors in accountancy, economics, finance, management, and marketing. A knowledge of basic business functions and an awareness of the businessperson’s responsibilities in the political, social, and economic order of society are fundamental objectives of the program.

Program Requirements:

I. Wright State Core: 39 Hours

ELEMENT 1 - COMMUNICATION: 6 HOURS

ELEMENT 2 - MATHEMATICS: 4 HOURS

• FIN 2050 - Personal Financial Decision Making Credit Hour(s): 3

ELEMENT 6: NATURAL SCIENCE: 8 HOURS

ADDITIONAL CORE COURSES: 6 HOURS

Required:

• Select either  EC 2040 - Principles of Microeconomics Credit Hour(s): 3 or EC 2050 Principles of Macroeconomics (course not taken for Element 5)

• Must complete two Multicultural Competence (MC) and two Integrated Writing (IW) courses in the Wright State Core.
