Scholarship

Scholarships for International Students at TU Dublin

TU Dublin offers a range of scholarships to support international students in their academic journey. These scholarships cater to various needs, including financial assistance, academic excellence, and specific student categories.

 

1. International Protection Applicants Scholarship (IPAS)

  • Eligibility Criteria:

    • Non-EU citizens who are:

      • International Protection Applicants

      • Refugees

      • Granted Subsidiary Protection

      • Granted Permission to Remain in Ireland

    • Not eligible for other state support (e.g., SUSI grants).

    • Must meet academic eligibility criteria for their chosen undergraduate program.

    • Must have completed or intend to complete:

      • Leaving Certificate or equivalent

      • QQI/FETAC full award

      • TU Dublin Access Foundation Programme

      • Mature Applicants (over 23 years old as of January 1, 2025) are also eligible.

    • Must be residing in the Republic of Ireland at the time of application.

    • Must be attending university for the first time.

    • Must provide documentary evidence verifying their status.

  • Benefits:

    • Covers all tuition and registration fees.

    • Provides an annual stipend of €3,000.

  • Application Process:

    • Applications open on August 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM and close on September 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

    • Applications must be submitted through the online form available on the TU Dublin website.

    • Applicants must have received an offer of a place on a TU Dublin undergraduate program through CAO or direct entry.

  • Note: Scholarships are awarded to the fifteen highest-ranked applicants, with random selection applied in cases where rankings cannot separate applicants.

 

2. TU Dublin Foundation Scholarships
