Scholarship

1. International Student Scholarships

  • Coverage: Up to NZD 10,000 towards tuition fees.

  • Eligibility:

    • Must be a new, full-fee paying international student.

    • Applicants must hold a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study an eligible programme commencing in 2026.

    • Students who have already commenced studies at Whitireia and WelTec are not eligible.

  • Application Process:

    2. Upon receiving an offer, apply for the scholarship by the specified deadline.

2. Southern Cross Nursing Scholarship Programme

  • Coverage: NZD 5,000 per year for each year of the three-year degree.

  • Eligibility:

    • Open to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing programme at Whitireia and WelTec.

    • Must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.

  • Application Process:

    1. Apply for the Bachelor of Nursing programme at Whitireia and WelTec.

    2. Submit a scholarship application by the specified deadline.
