Become a caregiver or support worker with this health and wellbeing - support work programme. Focus on supporting those who need assistance in day-to-day living. Ideal for working as a carer for those with an illness, disability or mental illness.
Programme outline
This qualification is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Amendment Order 2021. Students are therefore required to be fully vaccinated, including a booster dose, as they will have frequent contact/engagement with those providing health services and are considered tied to a role within a healthcare setting. This Level 3 Certificate is a full-time 17-week programme which is offered twice a year at the Petone campus. Part-time options are also available.
