What you will learn
The delivery of this programme focuses on helping students to communicate independently and confidently in a variety of situations and contexts. Students build on their intermediate level te reo in everyday situations and begin to learn more in-depth te reo knowledge. The programme is taught primarily in English and students are taught to understand language structures and features. This programme supports improving adult literacy and numeracy.
Te Pkaitahi Reo (Reo Rua) (Te Kaupae 4) will be delivered full time over one semester and consists of four compulsory courses, each worth 15 credits each. All four courses must be passed successfully to complete the programme. The assessments in each course include written, oral, listening and reading assessments.
Flexible learning options
There are part-time options offered one night per week. Streams are advised on enrolment confirmation. Full-time options are Monday-Thursday, 9am-2.30pm (subject to change).
