New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) - Health Assistance

Become a health assistant and have the opportunity to work in hospitals or in other areas such as personal care in retirement villages.

 

Programme outline

This qualification is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Amendment Order 2021. Students are therefore required to be fully vaccinated, including a booster dose, as they will have frequent contact/engagement with those providing health services and are considered tied to a role within a healthcare setting. This Level 3 Certificate is a full-time 17 week programme which is offered twice a year at the Petone campus.
