Whitireia New Zealand - Te Pukenga
Whitireia New Zealand, previously called Whitireia Community Polytechnic and Parumoana Community College (Maori: Te Kura Matatini o Whitireia), is a government-owned and funded tertiary education institute in New Zealand.
It was established in 1986 on the shores of Porirua Harbour and today has 7,500 students, with campuses in Auckland, Wellington, Petone and Porirua.
The Porirua Campus is where Whitireia began and continues to offer a number of community-driven courses. Located just 20 minutes from Wellington City, the Porirua Campus is one of New Zealand's most beautiful sites for a tertiary institution.

Whitireia Community Polytechnic is a Government-owned tertiary education institution that specialises in hands-on learning in a wide range of subjects including arts, business and IT, media training, teacher training, nursing, trades, and much more.
We offer around 130 programmes covering certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate levels. All our programmes have been developed in conjunction with industry, resulting in excellent applied qualifications. We have some 8000 international and domestic students studying at one of our seven contemporary campuses in Auckland, Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti.
The Porirua campus is the primary campus of the Whitireia. It is one of the nation’s most magnificent institutional locations. A number of full, part-time study and flexible online education research opportunities are available.
