Te Hiringa o Te Reo is a language resource designed specifically for those who are interested in learning basic M?ori language but have limited opportunities to attend regular language classes.

 

What you will learn

This language resource pack consists of recordings on a USB flash drive and a workbook that participants can work through at their own pace.

 

A team of first-language speakers have put this resource pack together to provide a basic understanding of te reo Mori. The programme also includes a selection of well-known waiata and karakia.

 

This resource doesn't reward a certificate or qualification on completion. There are no exams or tests to complete.  

 

Entry requirements

• Students must provide verified Identification of either a Birth Certificate or Passport.
• An interest in the M?ori language and a commitment to learning.
