Scholarship

Which scholarships exist (program + value)

Future Skills’ launch / international scholarships (available for international intakes) are offered per programme and are paid as tuition discounts. The main published awards for 2025 intakes are:

  • Master of Applied Management (Level 9) — NZ$5,000 off tuition (note: if student pays first-year fees only the award may be paid in two parts: NZ$3,000 initially and the remaining NZ$2,000 once full fees are paid).

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management (Level 8) — NZ$3,000 off tuition.

  • Bachelor of Applied Management (Level 7) — NZ$4,000 per year (NZ$12,000 total over 3 years).

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Level 7) — NZ$4,500 per year (NZ$13,500 total over 3 years).

  • Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying, Level 7) — NZ$4,500 per year (NZ$13,500 total).

  • New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Level 6) — NZ$4,500 per year (NZ$9,000 total over 2 years).

 

Who is eligible (key eligibility rules)

The primary eligibility and award conditions published by Future Skills are:

  1. Scholarships are for international students commencing in the specified intakes (the launch scholarships were published for 2024/2025 intakes — e.g., February, April, July, October).

  2. Scholarship is granted only after an unconditional offer is issued (i.e., you must receive an offer from Future Skills).

  3. Enrolment conditions: to be considered “enrolled” (and therefore have the scholarship applied) the student must: pay fees as required, have a visa approved, arrive in New Zealand and study more than three weeks of the programme.

  4. No refunds / RPL restriction: students receiving scholarships must not apply for refund or request RPL/cross credits for the programme (some scholarship terms forbid RPL/cross credit).

  5. Class capacity / programme availability may affect award (scholarships are subject to capacity). Future Skills reserves the right to alter or remove scholarships.

  • Proof of English proficiency where required (IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent) — check the programme page for exact scores.

  • Passport copy, completed application form and any agent documents.
