The Bachelor of Secondary Education (Honours) aims to prepare graduates to competently teach from Years 7 to 12 in secondary school settings. Graduates will have a broad and coherent body of knowledge developed through immersion in professional experiences in schools, professional and discipline-specific curriculum studies and education studies. Graduates will be equipped with the underlying principles and concepts associated with effective teaching in secondary schools. The Honours degree will provide a pathway for lifelong learning, research and professional development as a reflective and responsive educator.
