Bachelor of Science
The aim of this program is to provide a broad science education achieved through a combination of majors from the science disciplines of Applied Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Ecosystem Sciences, Mathematics, and Applied Earth Sciences. The program aims to produce graduates who have an understanding of the fundamental concepts of the sciences they have elected to study. An emphasis on laboratory and fieldwork is designed to give graduates the necessary skills to apply their knowledge in a field of scientific endeavour. The program also provides an appropriate science preparation for intending secondary science teachers.
To qualify for the award a student must complete 108 units comprising of six core courses including fundamental studies in communication and mathematics (27 units), two science majors (72 units), and two electives (9 units).
