Master of Information Technology (Cyber Security)
The Master of Information Technology (Cyber Security) aims to develop cyber security professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to advise stakeholders on the relevant cyber security standards, frameworks and guidelines to ensure compliance in complex enterprise environments and critically examine and implement a range of technology based cyber security defences that will migrate emerging threats and attacks
This two year (72 unit) program will provide students with specialist knowledge and skills relevant to the field of cyber security. The first four courses are designed to build the underlying body of knowledge primarily in foundational information technology. The next four courses will focus on introducing risk and governance, human factors and cyber criminal behaviour, and network security. The remaining six courses will provide advanced knowledge and skills in security operations and architecture, enterprise security, cyber physical security and consultancy skills.
