Master of Occupational Therapy (Graduate Entry)
The program provides a pathway for university graduates to develop foundation competencies, practical skills and professional knowledge essential to meet the registration requirements to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
Within this two year (72 unit) program students will cover the knowledge, skills and attributes required to become an Occupational Therapist, including at least 1000 hours of field practice experience. Content covers the major theoretical approaches and skills occupational therapists use to work with a broad range of clients with medical and psychological conditions that impact on occupational performance of people across the lifespan. Students are also required to attend a mandatory 3-day intensive orientation program to ensure they are adequately prepared for the accelerated nature of the program.
