Bachelor of Medical Science (Laboratory Medicine)
Our new four-year Laboratory Medicine course is an exciting specialisation that builds on the Bachelor of Medical Science degree and covers areas such as haematology and transfusion science, microbiology, genetics, immunology, virology, biochemistry, molecular biology and more. Students undertake two 13-week placements, equating to approximately 900 hours of laboratory placement in the fourth year of the degree, allowing them to apply their learning in a full-time capacity to a diagnostic pathology laboratory environment.
