Indonesia is our nearest neighbour and home to more than 260 million people. It has a rich cultural history—and is undergoing a period of unprecedented political, social and economic change. Flinders University is the only university in South Australia to offer Indonesian; students from other universities can enrol through cross-institutional arrangements. Studying Indonesian is a vital key to understanding our region. In addition to your new language skills, you’ll learn how Indonesia works and the ways people think, feel and live together.
