The Master of Professional Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) is designed to facilitate a broader and deeper approach to electrical and electronic engineering which leads to a formal qualification at the Masters level. The program duration is three years full time or part time equivalent.

 

Key emerging technologies in the area of electrical and electronic engineering, which are currently transforming modern society, include intelligent electricity networks; integration of renewable energy sources; wireless energy transfer; autonomous transportation; telecommunication security; distributed sensing and smart-home solutions; Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine communication.

 

The program focuses on:

• Fundamental background knowledge to successfully study electrical and electronic engineering at an advanced level.
• Advanced engineering skills and knowledge required by a practising electrical and electronic engineer.
• Capstone courses in electrical and electronic engineering while also completing an advanced level research program.
