Landscape Architecture

Landscape architecture is the planning, design and management of our natural and built landscapes for the benefit of communities and the future health of the planet.

In this major you will develop methods for understanding landscapes and communities, learn to design and plan for dynamic and resilient environments, and gain essential skills in critical thinking. You’ll graduate with strong theoretical and practical knowledge that enable you to produce creative landscape design outcomes.

Landscape architects respond to issues like climate change and biodiversity loss by applying systems thinking and practice to develop long-term, large-scale solutions.

This major will prepare you for postgraduate studies in landscape architecture or related fields.
