Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance)
If your ambition is to be a fully qualified accountant with a particularly strong understanding of the finance industry’s institutional structures and products, then this is the degree for you.
You’ll study a wide range of subjects including accounting, corporations law, tax law, derivatives, risk management techniques and credit assessment, and will learn how to manage risks in financial services firms and price a range of financial instruments, such as shares and debentures. You’ll graduate ready to work either as an accountant in the finance industry, or as a financial analyst, providing investment advice based on reviewing the financial statements of potential investees.
Study a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) at UC and you will:

- identify and obtain relevant information for decision making and providing advice to stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds
