In the Introduction to Digital Arts certificate course, students learn hands-on the roles and positions in the Animation, Visual Effects, and Video Game industries.
Students attend live online classes to fit their busy schedules and learning styles.
As part of the course curricula, students learn the roles for Concept Artists, 3D Modelers, 2D and 3D Animators, and Visual Effects artists.
By the end of the course, and for students who successfully pass the program with a letter B- (73%), are admitted into their diploma program of interest.

Program Outline
Introduction to Digital Arts
Month 1
Introduction to Concept Art
During the first term, this course introduces students to the fundamental principles of Concept Art and 3D modeling. Students will work on their own character and interior designs.
Duration: 1 month
Month 2
Introduction to 2D and 3D Animation
During the second term, VANAS students study 2D and 3D Animation. Students will learn the difference between 2D and 3D animation.
Duration: 1 month
Month 3
Introduction to Visual Effects and Computer Simulation
During the third term, VANAS students study Houdini Visual Effects and Computer Simulation. Introduction to Digital Arts course recap.
