About the Postgraduate Enabling Program
La Trobe University's Postgraduate Enabling Program (PEP) provides a pathway into a range of La Trobe Master's courses for students who may not have the academic and/or English requirements to gain direct entry.
PEP is a La Trobe University program, which will be delivered by La Trobe College Australia in Melbourne and Sydney. This program leads to all Master's courses offered at the Sydney Campus and the following Master's courses in Melbourne and Bendigo.

Prerequisites
Completion of a three-year post-secondary qualification.
Bangladesh
- Honours Bachelor's degree (3 years) awarded by a Section 1 institution
- Honours Bachelor's degree (4 years) awarded by a Section 2 institution.
China
- Certificate of Graduation or Graduation Diploma, 4 years full-time, from a degree granting institution recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
India
- 3-year Bachelor's degree awarded in pass division by a Section 1 institution
- 3-year Bachelor's degree awarded in third or pass division by a Section 2 institution
Indonesia
- a Sarjana (S1), awarded by a Section 1 institution in or after 1998 following a program identified as accredited by BAN-PT with a rating of C
- at least eight semesters (four years) of full-time study (144-160 credits)
Nepal
- 3 year Bachelor degree awarded by a Section 1 institution at minimum 42%
Pakistan
- a Bachelor's degree awarded by a Section 1 institution requiring three years of full-time study in any division or grade
- a Bachelor's degree awarded by a section 2 institution in either the second or third division or with a letter grade of C or D requiring at least three years of full-time study
- a Bachelor's degree awarded by section 3 institution in the second division requiring four years of full-time study
Vietnam
- a Bang Tot nghiep Dai hoc (University Graduation Diploma) awarded by a Section 2 institution, 4 or more years of regular, full-time study (Chinh Quy)
- a Bang Tot nghiep Dai Hoc (University Graduation Diploma) awarded by Section 3 institution (military, police and other specialised institutions)
Note: Meeting minimum prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of a place. Entry into all La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there may be limited places available.

A$14 100 flat semester fee.
Note: 120 credit points represents full-time study for one year.
