Be at the forefront of implementing sustainable business strategies

Develop the skills to assess the environmental impacts of organizational decisions in DePaul’s MS in Sustainable Management program. You’ll learn how to develop and implement sustainable strategies for managing human, financial and natural resources in today’s marketplace.

Our multidisciplinary program incorporates courses from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, the College of Science and Health, and the College of Communication.

For international students: this program is a STEM-designated program, which can qualify you to extend your post-graduation stay in the United States.

Sustainable Management (MS) Admission Requirements

  • Submit your online application and the $60 application fee.
  • Submit an essay explaining your interest in the program and your professional goals.
  • Submit a resume that summarizes your work experience and educational background. 
  • Submit your official transcripts from all degree-granting institutions you have attended. 
    Please note that not submitting all transcripts where courses have been completed could impact course waivers.

To earn the Master of Science in Sustainable Management, students must complete a total of 12 courses. Five courses are required core courses, four are selected from the list of business foundation electives and three are selected from the list of interdisciplinary electives. ?

?Degree Requirements

  1. Satisfactory completion of the college residency requirement.
  2. Satisfactory completion of the 12 required courses, or their substitutes as approved by the Chair of the Management Department.
  3. All courses for credit toward the degree must be completed within six calendar years after the candidate’s first term of enrollment in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. After a lapse of six years a course is expired. An expired course is not acceptable for the purpose of satisfaction of degree requirements and is not applicable to the degree.?
