This course allows you to top-up your existing qualification to a full honours degree in one year.

 

You'll be introduced to a wide range of engineering systems and concepts. This course has been carefully constructed to prepare you to work effectively in the modern world of engineering and gain a deeper understanding of this fascinating discipline.

Teaching methods on this course includes lectures, seminars, group work and e-learning. We encourage you to develop independent study skills. You'll also have opportunities to present ideas to other students and develop concepts within groups.

 

As well as assessments that count towards your degree, there are also ongoing assessments for feedback and consolidating your learning. Assessment methods include exams, multiple-choice tests and projects.

 

This course can be studied full-time and part-time. If you study the one-year top-up course, full-time, you'll be on campus two to three days a week. If you study across two years, part-time, you'll be on campus one day per week.

 

Full and part-time Level 2 top-up options are also available which are likely to include teaching over three days a week.
