This course addresses the HEE FCP/ACP Roadmap Stage 1 requirements and following successful completion of this module, and the Stage 2 requirements (detailed in the FCP/ACP Roadmap and the co-requisite), the individual can seek HEE Centre for Advancing Practice recognition as a FCP.

 

This module offers the opportunity for MSK practitioners to develop their theoretical knowledge and professional practice skills to a level necessary for managing complexity in clinical scenarios, often where the evidence is lacking and where complex clinical reasoning is necessary. There will be an opportunity to work inter-professionally and to link and share ongoing clinical experiences. Work-based learning, the support of the practitioner’s manager, and identification of a Supervisor are part of the requirements for becoming, or working, towards FCP abilities.
