The 2027 Hamilton offering is in A Trimester from 1 March to 27 June 2027 and is delivered in person.

BUSAN300 – Data Lifecycle Management

15 points, Level 300.

The 2027 version examines how organisations design and manage data throughout its lifecycle, including:

BUSAN301 – Contemporary Tools for Business Analytics

15 points, Level 300.

Students gain hands-on experience with business analytics tools and techniques, with particular emphasis on web-based software tools.

International Student Visa Requirements

Because the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is currently an in-person Hamilton programme for international students, an international student intending to study physically in New Zealand will generally need an appropriate New Zealand student visa.

The Fee Paying Student Visa is the principal visa category for students paying international tuition fees. Immigration New Zealand currently states that applicants must have an offer of place from an approved provider and demonstrate sufficient funds for tuition and living costs, among other requirements.

Main requirements

Applicants generally need to:

• Hold an Offer of Place from the University of Waikato.
• Have sufficient funds to pay tuition fees or have an acceptable scholarship.
• Demonstrate sufficient funds for living expenses or have an acceptable sponsor.
• Declare acceptable medical and travel insurance.
• Meet health and character requirements.
