Mode of Learning

  • Face-to-Face Learning: Most programs are delivered through in-person classes at the Auckland campus, providing direct interaction with instructors and peers.

  • Hybrid Offshore Learning: The New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4) offers a hybrid model, allowing students to complete theoretical components online from their home country, followed by an 11-week practical placement in New Zealand.

1. Hybrid Offshore Healthcare Assistant Scholarship

  • Number of Scholarships: 1,000

  • Coverage: NZD $5,500 (covers Part A of the NZQA Health and Wellbeing Level 4 Hybrid program)

  • Eligibility:

    • Applicants must be over the age of 18.

    • Demonstrate a strong interest in working as a healthcare assistant.

    • Commitment to supporting the ageing and vulnerable populations.

    • Meet the academic and admission requirements for the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Hybrid) at Kalandra Education Group.

  • Application Process:

    • Complete the scholarship application form available on the Kalandra Education Group website.

    • Submit a personal statement (500-700 words) explaining why you are passionate about becoming a healthcare assistant and how you plan to contribute to the care of the ageing and vulnerable populations.

    • Provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or community leaders who can attest to your character, commitment, and suitability for the scholarship.

    • Submit copies of your academic transcripts to demonstrate your educational qualifications and readiness for the programme.

    • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the Kalandra Education Group scholarship committee to discuss their application and aspirations.
