International Student Visa Requirements

The Mathematics Education specialisation is currently offered online from outside New Zealand. Therefore, an international student completing the programme entirely outside New Zealand generally does not need a New Zealand student visa.

If a student has an immigration arrangement that permits them to study in New Zealand, or if the programme/delivery arrangement changes to require physical attendance, the appropriate immigration requirements should be checked with Immigration New Zealand.

For students who do need to study physically in New Zealand, the relevant visa is generally the Fee Paying Student Visa.
