• The qualification was previously called the Bachelor of AgriCommerce.
• International Agribusiness is currently an active major.
• Students must complete a 360-credit Bachelor of Agribusiness.
• The International Agribusiness major is currently 165 credits.
• At least 26 weeks of relevant full-time practical work is required.
• The practical work is normally completed in two 13-week blocks during summer periods, with reports submitted for assessment.
• The final-year Integrative Studies course is the capstone.
• Not every listed course is necessarily offered every year.
• Some distance courses may contain compulsory contact workshops.
• Course prerequisites need to be considered when planning the degree.

International students studying the programme on campus in New Zealand will generally require a Fee Paying Student Visa.

Immigration New Zealand currently states that applicants must:

• Have an offer of place from an approved education provider.
• Have enough money to pay tuition fees or hold an appropriate scholarship.
• Have sufficient money for living expenses or an acceptable sponsor.
• Have acceptable medical and travel insurance.
• Meet health and character requirements.
