Bachelor of Social Services (Specialty)

Specialties You May Choose

  • Counselling – preparing you for roles in community counselling, school support or NGOs.

  • Health & Wellbeing Practice – preparing you for roles in mental health, disability support or community health work.

 

Programme Highlights

  • Work placements in Years 2–3 give real workforce experience.
  • Cultural competence focus — strong integration of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows experienced professionals to gain credit toward the degree.

Visa & Entry Requirements

International students will need a New Zealand Student Visa to study this full-time on-campus Bachelor’s degree. Typical requirements include:
