Web Development | dual
SRH University is a state-recognised private university in Germany offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It uses an innovative CORE principle that combines classroom learning with practical, project-based experience. SRH attracts students globally and has multiple campuses; the Web Development Dual programme is offered at the Berlin campus — a vibrant European tech and creative hub.
Why Study Web Development Dual (B.Sc.) in Germany at SRH Berlin?
The Web Development Dual (B.Sc.) is ideal if you want to combine academic study with hands-on work in a company right from the start. It equips you with technical, design, and project management skills while allowing you to apply what you learn in real-world professional settings. You work with a partner company during most semesters, gaining valuable industry experience and earning credits simultaneously.
Benefits of the Dual Model
-
Practical work integrated with theory — you spend ~2.5 days per week at a partner company while studying.
-
Real projects with companies, NGOs and startups that prepare you for job readiness.
-
Earn credits for your employment in the partner company (about 5 ECTS per semester).
-
Strong preparation for careers across tech, media, digital agencies and more.

Corporate/Industry Partnership Requirement
For the dual model you must secure a partner company (digital, tech or media) to work with from the start — often in web dev, digital media, UX/UI or related fields. The university can assist with guidance, but you and the company negotiate employment terms. Companies may cover tuition or pay a salary.
If you can’t find a partner before enrolment, you can start in the full-time programme and switch to dual later (typically from the 3rd or 4th semester) once you secure placement.
