Visa & Student Requirements (Non-EU/EEA Students)

If you are from outside the EU/EEA, you will need to follow German visa procedures:

  1. National (Type D) Student Visa via the German embassy in your home country.

  2. Show admission letter (from SRH) and proof of sufficient funds (blocked account ~€11,208/year).

  3. Valid health insurance covering your entire stay.

  4. After arrival, convert the visa to a German residence permit for study purposes.

  5. You may work part-time (e.g., 120 full days/240 half days) while studying under German rules.
