Why Study English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP1)?
English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP1) is designed to help international students who:
- Need to improve English language skills and academic English before starting a tertiary qualification at Massey University College or Massey University.
- Plan to enter MUC’s Foundation Certificate, Diploma (Business) or other further study pathways but do not yet meet the required English language entry standard.
- Want to build confidence in academic communication, reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a focus on skills needed for lectures, assignments, presentations, and research.
