Semester 1

Latest Updates / Special Requirements
The Master of Business Intelligence is a relatively new NZSE programme. NZSE officially introduced its first master's cohort in May 2026.
A major practical requirement is the computer specification for students undertaking the programme.
NZSE currently requires:
- Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, version 24H2
- Intel i7 14th Gen, 8-core, or AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series, 8-core
- Dedicated mobile GPU with at least 6 GB
- More than 16 GB RAM
- 1 TB SSD
- Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
- 15.6-inch screen
- Built-in webcam and microphone
- Wireless/Bluetooth business headset with noise-cancelling boom microphone
- Wireless/Bluetooth external USB mouse
- Current and updated internet/online security software.
International Student Visa Requirements
For an international student studying this master's degree physically in New Zealand, the relevant visa will generally be the Fee Paying Student Visa, subject to the student's circumstances.
Key requirements include:
- Offer of place from an approved education provider.
- Evidence of sufficient funds to pay tuition fees or an acceptable scholarship.
- Evidence of sufficient living funds or an acceptable sponsor.
- Appropriate medical and travel insurance.
- Meeting health and character requirements.
