This one-year add-on programme is designed for students who wish to further enhance and deepen their knowledge of social care practice as well as further enhance their future career and study prospects. The programme provides an opportunity for students who already have a Level 7 degree in Social Care (or equivalent) to obtain a Level 8 honours degree within one year. Students will undertake studies in subjects such as therapeutic interventions, narrative approaches, social policy and management, as well as law with a focus on practical application to the profession of social care throughout.
