Other topics include the editing industry in Canada; editorial and production processes (and how courses in the program fit with them); AI and its uses and implications for editors and editing; accessibility requirements and practices; and the critical importance of plain language and conscious language. Learn how to use markup tools in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, and review the best current editorial reference materials, software, and related resources.
