Anatomy for Medical Device Development
The Postgraduate Certificate in Anatomy for Medical Device Development focuses on the anatomical aspects related to the broad discipline of bio-medical device design in relation to the development of human-centric devices, products, services, and experiences.
On completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Anatomy for Medical Device Development, you will have mastered fluency in several technical areas including anatomy of the human musculoskeletal, neurovascular and cardiovascular systems; anatomy for human biomechanics and design of biomedical devices; and design for orthopaedic, cardiovascular and neurovascular disorders.
In addition, this postgraduate course will embed evidence-based and practical aspects related to both device design and related diseases as well as a flexible and modern pedagogical approach to teaching.
On this course you will complete 30 credits of taught modules over two 10-12-week-long semesters.
