For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff

 

Early recognition, treatment and escalation improves survival rates of the adult patient. This module will provide the student with the essential skills and confidence to recognize and manage deteriorating patients. The module is delivered utilizing the A-G assessment method, also included in the module are early warning scoring systems, underlying anatomy and physiological principles, and effective communication strategies to ensure early treatment and escalation.
