For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff

 

This work-based learning module enables students to gain academic credits for continual professional development in the workplace.

 

The module aims to support the development of higher level academic skills, in particular critical reflection and the ability to critically appraise the evidence and apply it to practice.

 

Students are expected to develop a portfolio of evidence to support this.

 

The aims of the module are: 

To allow students to develop more specialist knowledge in their area of choice

To further develop student’s skills in appraising the evidence in their area of choice, and applying this to their practice 

To enable critical reflection and encourage students to consider their own continued development needs in light of their area of

practice
