For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff

This module introduces the student to systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) in children and young people (CYP) and the skills required to become competent in administration of SACT. This module provides students with the opportunity to learn about the holistic care of a CYP receiving SACT. This will lead to safe and effective administration and evidence-based practice. A blended learning approach is applied (including both classroom and online activities). Critical thinking and sharing practice experiences will be encouraged throughout the module. Students will have the opportunity to complete the SACT passport for CYP in the UK.
