Diabetes Management (Level 7)

For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff

 

This module is aimed at those who are responsible for the care of the diabetic individual in the course of their practice at all levels. This programme may serve as an update for some and present new information for others. It aims to heighten awareness and be applicable for current and future practice. Level 7: The student will demonstrate a high level of critical thinking, self-direction and originality in addressing clinical problems encountered in the practice environment. In doing this, they will be able to draw on current research and evidence-based data to advise the team in a variety of clinical and service provisions.
