Kidney Care - Managing people with Kidney Disease (Level 6)

For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff

 

This course aims to prepare registered practitioners for their role within renal health care. They will have the opportunity to develop and critically evaluate specialist nephrology and dialysis knowledge and skills in order to deliver high quality care. The course is suitable for any nurse or AHP who is currently working in a renal service (pre-dialysis; nephrology dialysis or transplantation). The course will run over 12 study days (consecutive Tuesdays commencing 08 March 2020) and can be studied at either at level 6 or level 7 (40 credits).
