Preceptorship in Practice (GOSH/LSBU Partnership) (Level 7)
For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff
The module is designed for newly registered practitioners or recently registered (within 1 year of qualifying) to enhance and support the development of their professional values. The module learning outcomes have been mapped against the Health Education England Preceptorship Standards
Aims of the module:
- Preceptorship in Practice aims to reinforce the professional values of newly registered practitioners to enable them to become confident and competent practitioners in practice.
- The module will include all aspects of the Health Education England (HEE) Preceptorship Standards and aims to provide tools to allow the students to become reflective practitioners where they can manage potential future challenges in practice to allow for a smoother transition from a student to professional practitioner.
