For all modules and courses the applications portal will close 4 weeks before the start date. All applications must be submitted and funding confirmed before the portal closes. Any applications that have not been processed and or do not have funding confirmed from the sponsor organisation before the portal closure will not be accepted by the IHSC administrator staff
This module aims to provide and equip learners with an opportunity to develop an in-depth critical knowledge of the key requirements relating to the advanced consultation and assessment skills needed to be safe and competent when undertaking an advanced clinical assessment and consultation for individuals with minor, complex, acute, chronic, and undifferentiated diagnoses in any environment. Students will be able to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the application of these skills within the unpredictable, complex, and uncertain nature of primary and community care. This module will empower and enable students to examine and evaluate their clinical practice to operate as a safe and competent clinician. As part of the module aims, the learner will be able to undertake an in-depth holistic history and have an in-depth knowledge of all the systems that may be required to be examined as part of the consultation.
