Special requirements / important considerations

1. Strong on-campus commitment

This is not simply an online master's. Full-time students may need to attend campus up to five days a week, with classes/workshops/supervision scheduled between 8 am and 7 pm on weekdays.

2. 40-hour study commitment

NMIT expects full-time learners to devote approximately 40 hours per week to the programme.

3. Laptop and internet required

Students need a laptop or desktop and regular internet access. Moodle, Office 365 and NMIT library/research resources form part of the learning environment.

4. Research capability

Students should be comfortable with:

5. Major availability

New Zealand Student Visa

An international student coming to New Zealand for this full-time master's will generally need a Fee Paying Student Visa, subject to their individual circumstances.
