- Develop and articulate your own views on education, informed by a critical evaluation of relevant theoretical and practical perspectives
- Adopt an autonomous approach to your learning and continuing professional development
- Apply theoretical debates to critically evaluate professional practices and vocational contexts
- Explore and critique educational theory, research, policy and practice
- Select and apply appropriate research techniques and methodologies to complete a major piece of independent research
- Practise making sound judgments and communicating or presenting your conclusions competently
