Build a legal foundation with JCU
The Bachelor of Laws degree can be completed in three years full-time, with options for part-time study and dual degrees available. These can provide multiple pathways towards specialisation in your chosen area of law.
In your first year, you will build a strong foundation of legal concepts and processes in a contemporary setting, supported by JCU’s First Year Experience program, which provides personalised study guidance.
In your second year, you will build upon your foundational knowledge to study different areas of law in-depth, including personal property and land law, criminal law, and torts. Pursue elective law subjects to suit your career interests and goals.
In your third year, you will advance your legal knowledge and skills by developing expertise in administration, equity, trusts, company, and constitutional law.
