Master of Health Leadership

With the healthcare sector set for robust growth over the coming decade, the Australian Government, as well as public and private health organisations, are prioritising capacity building. With this comes a need for more skilled leaders – individuals who are strategic thinkers and ethical decision-makers; who have expertise in stakeholder engagement, change management and advocacy; and who can lead in hospitals, healthcare organisations, government agencies and beyond.

The Master of Health Leadership will position you as this leader – equipping you with the capabilities and connections to innovate beyond the traditional boundaries of today’s healthcare disciplines. A unique collaboration between the Macquarie Business School and the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences, the degree translates business expertise into actionable healthcare solutions. You’ll study within Macquarie University Health, a unique ecosystem that integrates clinical care, learning and research – and home to the nation’s only not-for-profit hospital on a university campus and 30 specialist clinics – while also tapping into the expertise of researchers from Macquarie’s Centre for the Health Economy.
