This program provides a solid foundation for computer science study in computer theory, software design, development, and applications. Accredited with the Australian Computer Society at a professional level, you’ll graduate ready to address real-world challenges and innovative solutions.

 

This is a three-year degree with distinct majors which allow you to specialise in different applications of computer science and computer systems.

 

Computer Science at Western provides flexibility through electives. Students may choose to deepen their knowledge on a specialised area by pursuing a major such as AI or Cyber Security, or to broaden their knowledge in different areas of study by selecting subjects from across the university.
