Master of Health Science

Take the lead in a critical area of needed skills. Our Master of Health Science degree offers you the opportunity to lead in the fields of Health Services Management, Occupational Health and Safety or Digital Health. The degree is specifically designed to prepare new, aspiring, and middle tier health service practitioners, planners, and managers to lead in the strategic and operational management of a wide range of health services and facilities.

 

Your studies will help you develop skills in managing people, resources, systems, and processes within health services to meet the changing needs of communities, clinicians, governments, and organisations. The goal of the program is to develop decision-ready practitioners who can impact positively on health service issues and systems. Western Sydney University is Australia’s premier health sciences education institution. The University is internationally renowned for its teaching and research activities and is at the forefront of innovation professional programs. Our Health Science graduates will be exposed to academic and industry leaders who share their experience and knowledge to provide insights into the contemporary health service management, digital health, and workplace safety environments. Note: Sydney City Campus start times are March, July and November. This program is offered as a 1 and 1.5 year pathway with relevant prior degrees.
