Doctor of Philosophy (Arts and Social Sciences)

Candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research and write a thesis on an approved topic, supported by a supervisory academic team. The program is offered in a range of disciplines, including art history, economics, education, communications, archaeology, modern languages, sociology, and cultural studies

 

This course is for those with a first or second-class honours bachelor’s degree, a research master’s, or a master’s by coursework with a research component (75% or above). Alternatively, significant experience and high-level qualifications in the field may be accepted.
